I would ask that you please respect my holding the copyright on these images and not use them on other sites without my permission. I will almost certainly grant this permission if you are creating a personal web page about coins or wish to use them in a school paper. The images are watermarked. All these images are provided at 10 pixels per millimeter, so you can determine the approximate diameter of any coin by dividing the image's vertical size by 10.

As time passes I will add information as available from Wikipedia and other sources on the histories of people and places issuing the illustrated coins.
